And exit he certainly did, with what's being billed online as the most memorable farewell address in the show's history.
The Memorable Exit Speech
"I'm completely baffled what mistakes people are making.
I cannot believe you've repeated this error," the television personality announced.
"I'm amazed that I've been eliminated for no good reason, so I don't want to be rude, you're making a huge mistake," he went on.
"Currently, I am, and throughout I've been the entire competition entirely dedicated..." he declared, sparking expressions of shock from his competitors, before concluding his statement: "...toward the traitors."
"That represented the most absurd departure," remarked a obviously stunned Joe Marler.
Fallout and Responses
After these events, the players exploded with joy.
Ultimately - the faithful have ultimately identified a dishonest player.
And not merely any deceiver.
The emerald-clad, shades-adoring, the media personality has been eliminated.
For entertainment reporter the television critic, it was further evidence of precisely how "merciless" the dishonest players are capable of being.
"The traitors' alliance fell apart!
Such an intense installment," she observed.
Post-Elimination
But speaking to production subsequently, Ross was gracious about acknowledging elimination.
"I'm kind of glad it's over and I'm satisfied Alan went for me also," he revealed.
"I'm optimistic they will stick together and cruise to success."
On the official after-show, he further stated that the perfect approach for deceptive contestants was "stay under the radar, don't become invisible.

During this round, the victim became Lucy Beaumont's moment, after ending up the previous installment among the defeated players.
The performer was eliminated dramatically, via personal elimination, returning to the oversized chess set.
She looked truly surprised when she realised the identities of the dishonest contestants.
"I'm not happy regarding your decisions in the slightest," she informs them.
"You performed the game incredibly effectively."
Similar to other contestants, her first thought upon discovering the comedian was involved under the hood was, "Alan was responsible for Paloma!"
More Excitement
"Confrontational removal felt particularly cruel, and so raw," commented the comedian.
"I feel like Death himself."
The media figure, who had also been among the defeated players, was spared from being murdered.
Yet she remained displeased at the reaction from other contestants when she walked into the morning meal the following morning.
"Everyone seems disappointed about my presence," commented the media personality.
"How come not a single person have confidence in me?"
Joe Marler immediately clarified that her issue involves, she rarely offers with a lot of theories, something the presenter acknowledged.
"I'm completely ineffective, I'm frustrated," she said.
Task Tension
In other segments, the focus became the comedian's antics once more, while the television personality traversed a precarious pathway over a river through the current competition, shrieking during the entire endeavor.
"You're doing exceptionally," Garraway said, in an attempt to motivate him, eliciting his answer: "Be quiet."
"I imagined I was experiencing school games with youngsters.
Similar to a caring, overbearing mother, I was putting him off," the host commented to the cameras.
But Carr triumphed, and as he did so, he stated the unforgettable phrase: "Oh my sensitive areas.
