New South Wales law enforcement revealed they've uncovered an international ritualistic child sex abuse material ring and charged four Australians for their alleged participation.
Investigation Particulars
Investigators from the special victims unit indicated that as part of Strike Force Constantine, an inquiry into the digital distribution of child sexual abuse material involving satanic elements, they dismantled a Sydney-based organization.
Law enforcement alleged the group was regularly engaged in holding, sharing and enabling this material through a online platform that was "managed globally".
Law Enforcement Operations
Detectives, joined by the riot squad, executed 6 search warrants in Waterloo, Ultimo district and Malabar on Thursday morning last week.
- At the Waterloo address, police detained a 26-year-old man who they claimed played a "leading role" in the network.
- The man was charged with numerous offences including possession of child abuse material, making available child abuse material, and disseminating and possessing bestiality material.
- He was refused bail to face court proceedings the previous Friday.
Additional Arrests
At a unit block in the Malabar area, investigators took into custody three males aged 46, forty-two and 39.
They were also accused with possession of child abuse material and other charges.
The four individuals are due to return to court at a later date.
